New builds and associations — your questions

Our building was just handed over. Doesn't the contractor clean it?

Usually the contractor hands over broom-clean: coarse waste removed and the floor swept. The fine dust in the lift, on the stairs and in the grilles stays, and that's what residents notice in the first months.

Many residents move in at once. Won't it get dirty again straight away?

Yes, which is why we add a temporary extra visit during the move-in period. Lift walls can be protected during those weeks if the syndic asks.

How do you handle new natural stone and aluminium frames?

With pH-neutral products. Aggressive cleaners leave marks on aluminium and can dull new stone.

Do you put the bins out?

Yes, following the Kortrijk collection calendar, and we bring them back in the next day.

Do you also work for older buildings?

Certainly. Most of our work for syndics in Kortrijk, Heule and Marke is simply regular upkeep of existing buildings.

What notice period applies?
